A website that earns its keep, not one that just sits there
A proper website for a New Zealand trade business — found on Google, works on a phone, and turns the people looking for you into people who call. Monthly plans from $99, the build included, no $5,000 upfront.
Do tradies actually need a website in 2026?
Less than you fear, and more than you hope. Most of your work already comes through word of mouth and Google, and for a lot of tradies a well-kept Google Business Profile does more than a website ever will. But when someone Googles your name and finds nothing — or finds a page that looks abandoned — you lose a job you had already half-won. A website earns its keep by turning the people already looking for you into people who call you.
This is why our web plans set up your Google Business Profilefirst, then point it at a site worth landing on. Get that pair right and you have covered where nearly all your new work will actually find you.
How much should a tradie website cost in NZ?
You should not be quoted five thousand dollars upfront for a small-business website, and you should never be quoted "it depends" with no number at all. We publish ours: plans from $99 a month with the build included, not billed as a separate lump sum. That covers hosting, updates and someone to call when something breaks — the parts that usually get abandoned after a one-off build.
You can see every tier and every setup fee on ourpricing section — no "contact us for a quote". Hiding the number is usually a tell.
What should a $99/month website actually include?
At minimum: a fast, mobile-first site that loads properly on a phone, your Google Business Profile set up and pointed at it, the few pages that actually win work (what you do, where, and how to reach you), and honest basic SEO so your name comes up. Ours includes all of that, hosted and maintained. If a plan that cheap comes with no hosting, no updates and no support, it is not cheap — it is unfinished.
Why a monthly plan instead of paying once?
Because a website is not a thing you build once and forget — the ones that stop working are the ones nobody has touched in three years. A monthly plan keeps it hosted, updated and watched, and keeps us on the hook to fix it. No lock-in: if it stops earning its keep, you leave.
